We have a lot in common, and a lot not in common. But this is pretty cool on the whole. Love seeing Songs: Ohia in the top 20.

I had to check out your charts because of the Jaga Jazzist love!! My fav of 2005 as well... also, convincing me to put Charlie Brown Christmas in my Top100. I always listen to it, even in summer, and just forgot to put it in!!! Great list.

Cheers Michael. Grand prix is top ten good. Such a feel good record along with that weezer one. Can't work out why it's not really liked!

I really enjoyed this chart! You have my favourite Weezer and Grandaddy albums!! Also good to see the Specials and Super Furrys. I am forever indebted for Grand Prix as well hehe.

Need to check out Shack and I am Kloot. I am expecting good things :)

No offence taken, I totally understand. I'm 19 so I probably fit in that "young and tryin to be cool" group, but I've always liked metalheads cause they have that specific, unconformist way of life. Of course you have some very tough guys, but I also know some so easygoing and friendly metalheads who listen to all kinds of music and are a great company. And I love it when people recognize my Maiden shirt, it's an immediate conversation starter. Well, just an opinion of a young man :)

Hey ledzep I agree. Think the thing I've tried to get over with the chart is sometimes when you are young, things like what your peers are into, what is deemed to be cool and fashion are important and that can maybe make you distance yourself from good music that's not got the cool factor. As ive got older I've come to rediscover stuff I'd written off as not cool, a few on this chart. When I was a teenager I'd rather look like Ian brown than James hetfield. Sorry dont mean to do down any metalheads, people are just people eh and young people can be silly. I certainly wouldn't judge anyone by how they look. Though I still think most metal attire is not so good and I'll stick to wearing my clarks classics and mod hair while I listen to Vektor.

"I didnt want to be one of those metallers that sat on the green in town every weekend" why not? Always thought metalheads are great company. Sometimes not the most intellectual, but really devoted to music. Not generalizing, cause I've met many really smart people who love metal.
