Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.2/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.6.

abit repetitive but so beautiful. another exemple of this band's choice to put the saddest song at the end of an ablum. like kid a with motion picture sound track, in raibows with video tape, the bends with street spirit fade out...
This song is so powerful, I can't even find the words to express it. Whenever I hear it, I'm just overcome with emotions. This, my friends, is ART.
I know a lot of diehard Radiohead fans are ambivalent toward this track because they'd grown to love the stripped-down live version, but this is one of the saddest and most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
After more than 20 years, TLW finally received a studio recording, and I think it is more than a worthy one.
*sniff* I-I'm not crying, y-you're crying...
makes you fink...
This is by far the saddest song I have ever heard.
Good to have a song - with few layers driven by a monophonic piano line and Thom's vocals with minimal background instrumentation - as an album closer to "come down" from the rest of the majestic, haunting, deep, layered, and challenging album.
This song absolutely destroyed me.
Too personal for me, my ex is named Kat and we always loved to spend time with her 3 year old niece Caroline.
The specific lines
"Your tiny hands
Your crazy kitten smile"
caused me to literally break down for thirty straight minutes
I can't honestly justify calling this song anything besides a masterpiece because anything less would be selling it far too short
100/100
"I'm not living, I'm just killing time" still haunts me every listen.
