great track. An amazing composition really
It took a while to grow on me, but now it may be my favorite track. So glad he decided to play it and Impossible Soul on his Festival tour last year (2016). Never thought I'd get to hear I Want To Be Well live since he didn't play it at the Adz of Adz show I attended.

It starts off weird as hell, but by the time "Well I want to be well I want to be well I want to be well" is being repeated over and over by Sufjan and a bunch of backing vocals, it's clear that this is one of the best songs on the album.
Reminded me somewhat of radiohead. Cool song
