Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 66.5/100, a mean average of 63.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 63.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 24.3.

faux-political trash
The only song I heard this year so far which stuck in my mind as interesting and not unnerving - but yes, it's still a shallow tune, as empty as it's protest nothing and everything lyrics which are to afraid to say anything but do a good job in giving a blueprint to promote conspiracy theories. And why do I like it? I saw Perry on TV performing it at the Brit awards (the stage with the dancing houses!) and i liked her rougher singing, her dance moves, her 80s japanese designer suit and I liked the melancholy in the melody and the false feeling of urgency and panic in the refrain. Good craftmanship and Perrys charm got me and yes, sadly there is no better song on the Arca album or the Kehlani nor the Sampha, SZA or whatever young hipsters admire and the old hipsters, might you please listen to your Gorillaz with your headphones on? So I can cry over the demise of pop music while Katy at least pretends to hold my hand for three minutes.
