It takes guts to come on stage at your career-defining headline performance (keep in mind that neither Bowie nor Glasto were held in quite the same high regard we're used to today) with one of the most haunting, moving and certainly darkest covers of your career, but just watch Bowie swoon on stage in his Sirius Black tribute outfit to bring the entire place to life with just those opening words alone.
His voice is unparalleled in range and delivery on the original, and here, it simply confirms his elder-statesmen of all music position. Just listen to the crowd cheer when he walks on, it always brings tears to my eyes. The piano, so deft in its magic, and Earl Slick's guitar solo on the close, holy f*cking god. This everything live music should be, absolutely spellbinding.

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
