Imaginal Disk was the album that introduced me to Magdalena Bay. And surely, I was enjoying the music track by track while at work, but when those drums start breaking down and all hell breaks loose towards the end of Tunnel Vision...
That's the moment it really clicked. That's the moment I could sense the band shouting out to me "Seriously, listen to us, we're not messing around here." I proceeded to give the album repeated listens and today, towards the end of 2024, it's pretty safe to say it's my AOTY. (Edited)
