Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.8/100, a mean average of 86.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.8.

Underrated Beatles track and one of their best straight ahead rock songs.

I watched the Yellow Submarine movie around the age of 10, and this was the only song I could remember, always thinking it was good. Years later I rediscovered it. 10-year-old me was correct. Considering how huge of a rock fan I am now, I think it's fair to call this the song that shaped my taste in music. Obvious 100.

Easily the best of the four 'new' tracks for the Yellow submarine soundtrack. John Lennon's bluesy howler is a cut above the other songs and apparently, according to engineer Geoff Emerick, was the last time the Beatles really came together in the studio. Good song.

85/100??? I just posted a comment under Please Please Me that said that buying a copy of this album would be worth it ONLY FOR THIS SONG. I honestly think that this song is worth the $10 or however much I paid for that album. One of the catchiest tunes they ever penned, and that is saying something.

I quite enjoyed this one. The guitar was at least well represented.
