Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.6/100, a mean average of 86.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.1.

What a terrific opener. Undoubtedly taking from elements of classic prog and fusion giants of all sorts but with a tone and path carved out all their own. Just when you hear a Rush type progression or Genesis-esq motif, the flute comes in. However, it's not indicative of Tull's Ian Anderson, it's more in line with the feel and note selection found on records like Marvin Gaye's What's Going On or Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life.
Fabulous instrumentation all around, this is like a celebration and documentation on how music permeates life.
Some of the most well constructed prog/fusion jamming since the 70s. My favorite song of the 2010s thus far.
Great prog jam
