"One of the greatest double albums of all time and along with Innervisions two of the greatest soul/RnB albums ever. I remember there was a lot of hype before the release of this album as it was delayed time and time again before finally being released at the end of 1976. It more than lived up to ..."  [+]  Reply

"I have found my favourite Bowie album! I seriously wasn't expecting it to be this good! Every track is a stunner! Now I better go listen to Ziggy Stardust, after which I will have listened to the top 4 albums by him on this site."  Reply

"Spawned a new genre. Even some of the bands that are called 'the best ever' on BEA can't say that they've created a genre. Do I love this album and think it's perfect? No. Does it deserve much higher rating than 80? Yes"  Reply

"It's a really good album, but I think it has become a little overrated. The title track, "New Kid in Town" and "Life on the Fast Line" are fantastic songs, but the rest of the album isn't as special. Eagles for me were always a singles band - listen to their greatest hits post-1977 and you are al..."  [+]  Reply

"I can't normally sit down and listen to this record anymore, because classic rock radio has sort of burnt it out for me, but honestly i'm glad that this record was made, and for all the times I heard these songs playing in the car."  Reply

"4 January 2014 "Desire" was a grower for me. For years and years I thought it was just alright. I guess some part of me thought it was weird and pretentious (whatever that means) and just something that didn't seem to fit into Dylan's discography or my idea of it. Then one day I gave this album a..."  [+]  Reply

"What a way to kick off an album! They begin with a 20 minute prog epic that absolutely blows me away with every listen. The instrumentation, composition, vocals and everything else about it is just stellar and it gives the listener a fantastic experience. It is really difficult to follow a song l..."  [+]  Reply

"Some years ago I was visiting Boston with a friend, and I remember him asking me who my favorite musical artist from Boston was. The obvious answer was Buffalo Tom, one of my favorite bands of all time. But if I had to come up with a #2, I think it would have to be the Modern Lovers. What I love ..."  [+]  Reply

"sheer bloody genius. If this lp only contained Tightrope alone it would be classic (like carry on my wayward son is the only classic song on that Kansas lp) but there is also Telephone Line, Do Ya and Livin Thing. In it's day, it sold for a new world record too."  Reply
