"Being new to Tom Waits' stuff I can say he's starting to grow on me. Though I heard Rain Dogs a few times before this (even though I like it), this one just clicked with me almost immediately on first listen. "The first thrash metal album! This is raw Metallica! This is the album that fueled most of the 80s metal. I realize that's a big statement but I stand behind it. "When I was first introduced to this album it was getting no air play and I only gave it a spin because Madonna grew up close to where I did.
