"There's more to this than just the singles people recognise. Good synth album before the group went all mainstream. I like this more simple sound, it suits Annie's voice. Another purchase on vinyl for next to nothing 2nd hand." Reply

"Basically, a blues bar band with a solid front man and some original songs. But Walking on a Thin Line was a standout song about Vietnam vets, one of the first songs to address the lives of soldiers after the war. The three or four radio hits were all solid, too." Reply

"Their best record, with the great "Here Comes the Rain Again" and "Who's That Girl," "Cool Blue," and "The First Cut" as the highlights. Experimentalism was still edging out commercialism but it was in the late innings and its arm was getting tired." Reply
