"The run from Sex on Fire till Revelry is a relentless flawless streak of mad genius. I dont know how/why i ended up loving those 4 songs so much, but they havent aged a day after all this time and i only love them more with every listen. The rest of the album has eventually grown on me, notion an..."  [+]  Reply

"I find it very interesting when people accuse a band of recording purposefully obtuse music, or accuse a person of purposefully listening to obtuse music, in order to promote some image. Just because you don't enjoy an album doesn't mean everyone else isn't going to enjoy it, and it certainly doe..."  [+]  Reply

"I understand comparisons to Ok Computer but for me that album dealt with humanity losing itself through technological advancement whereas here Jason Lytle is dealing with the aftermath where that battle is in the past and nature has reclaimed the earth. I think this is best exemplified by the son..."  [+]  Reply

"I cant get over this album, it is definitely my favorite record of theirs. I end up listening to this way more often they I do Dear Science. There is just some kind of feeling this album has that I can not get over. Wolf Like Me got me hooked but Province and Tonight kept me"  Reply

"No more shall we part, is one of Nick Cave's best and most beautiful albums. It's a stunning record, the music intimate, but it still manages to sound huge, even cinematic. It features some of Cave's best ever writing. The playing is superb, and there are some lovely backing vocals from the Mcgar..."  [+]  Reply

"One of those albums thats nostalgic to a fault for me. Hysteric is my wedding song. Is it a 100? Maybe not, but for me it is. Every song sparks a magic in me that is undeniable. Listen to the extended version, so much beautiful music. Thank you YYY for letting this record exist."  Reply

"Everything about this band irritates me. That includes their faux "organic family greengrocers" name, the shameless plundering of Shakespeare quotes, Marcus Mumford's pathetic hangdog vocal delivery, the faux hand-me-down caps and waistcoats look, the use of the word "heart" in every other line, ..."  [+]  Reply

"I dunno why this album doesn't have a higher average rating. It's great not a bad song on it. Does get weaker after track 8 and it's a bit too long though. Favourite tracks: Cochise, Like A Stone, I Am The Highway"  Reply
