Seems a little unethical to "update" it like that. I figure they should have just conducted a new poll if they wanted a new one instead of altering the list that people's, the voters, names are attached to.

Very true.
Also not including The Flaming Lips is unethical.

But can Rolling Stone be expected to think of that? Oh no. 🙄

Also, I love how like 5+ of the new albums are just lumped at the bottom of the list :\

I feel like I'm talking to myself, but did anyone else notice how far "Let It Be" dropped? I figure it was ranked too high before, but wow, it dropped so much. It would have made more sense if "A Hard Day's Night", "Please Please Me" or "Meet The Beatles" dropped... none of those albums are very good.

Yeah, I did notice that. I do think the newer rank is closer to what I myself would have done, just as Kid A's rank is better than before.
Oh, and replace A Hard Day's Night with Help! on your list and you're spot on. It amazes me that Please Please Me got into the top 100 in the first place, much less a spot as high as THIRTY-NINE. And through to the two revisions (the 2005 one and this one), it stayed there. I mean, Let It Be got lower, but they didn't drop Please Please Me.
