I am in the middle of making my decade charts atm and i was just thinking what a hassle it is going to be to fill out the 70 odd year charts as well. Anyway I thought it would be great if there was someway for the site to automaticaly add the albums you already have for a decade into their respective year charts.
Example: I make a 90's chart and then the site would add all of the albums from that chart into their respective year charts.
Ideally it would be an optional feature (For those complainers :p)

Good idea, especially if one feels lazy sometimes 😜
It will be good if we could still edit year charts separately, since currently I am not including my overall chart selections on my decade charts.

yes, definitely could do something to make a bit easier. The decade/year charts could be (optionally) pre-populated with items from your other charts, which could then be overridden so that you don't have to keep the selections. Maybe, there could as well be a list of 'possible' albums that you might want to include, e.g. albums in your favourites from a certain year, or those that you have rated highly but are not already in your chart.
I think year charts will go live in the next week or so (but won't include this kind of feature just yet, or at least until the idea has evolved a bit further!).

no worries, the other thing to mention is that I don't think people need to feel they have to back-fill 60 odd charts! I was expecting just the current/previous year to be of most interest (the main reason year charts were added)... I'm not trying to dissuade people from doing more than this, but just saying.
