Curse or Implosion. More drawn towards Implosion because I usually have Expert Intelligance, the Mana Vortex and high knowledge. Can easily afford the cost.
What draws you to the Tower? They pick on the Gremlins all the time when you are the Tower 🤣 :P |
Those are both very useful spells that probably should have made my list.
Putting the expert __magic aside, I think Lightning Bolt's often very useful early on in the game. But it does get obsolete very quickly.
Why Tower? Well, I like all towns, but Tower does have the best (upgraded) Level 1, 6 and arguably Level 7 creatures in the game. And Dungeon has mana vortex, but Tower has the library, which is pretty useful too.
The only thing that annoys me is that mages and genie die so easily.
Why don't you post your top ten creatures or something here when you have the time, outlaw?
Or anybody else here who likes this game, for that matter.

Is that new? What is it like?
I'm still stuck on Heroes 3 🤣 It is the only one I have and I started playing it for a while after writing in this thread last time.

It was released last year, I think.
I've only just started playing it, but I'd say it's pretty true to the original concept, which I really appreciate.
But there are new creatures of course, some really cool-looking ones and, well, the graphics are much more advanced (but pretty similar to Heroes 5).
What else, the skill tree is completely different (and kind of confusing) and um, yeah...
There are some small things, but it's pretty much the same as Heroes 3 (unlike Heroes 4 where they made some major changes: the heroes took actively part in battle and could be killed etc).
