Franki Valli's Grease which Barry Gibb wrote is actually a cool and imaginative tune - underrated in my view, mainly because it was unfashionable to admit to liking it. The Bee Gees mastered the pop/harmony format but sadly their style was derivative, albeit eccentric and slightly odd.

There`s more to the Bee Gees than just disco. They crafted pop-songs as well as anyone. A little schmaltzy, sure, but still talented.

Sad news indeed. At least he`s no longer suffering.
