So my viewing threshold is set to the default -2 (meaning only comments with a -2 vote or higher will show up when I look at them). Today, I came across two comments that had -3 votes, and, as expected, they didn't show up. However, when I clicked the link to read them, this did nothing but refresh the page. I was still unable to see the comments.

I don't see the point in having a viewing treshold. A user once wrote that Nick Drake "sounds like a fat transvestite with globus hystericus" which got like 10 minusses. However, even though I like Nick Drake, that's still a good way to describe him.

🤣 It helps to stop spam showing up on the search engines, and there's a few other reasons too. You can always disable the threshold from your profile page.
