Renaissance was a band started by the guys who were not the great guitar players from The Yardbirds. They started in 1969, and by the emd of 1970 the original members were all gone. Through the 70's and into the early 80's, they were a pretty bland prog band that did bloated albums like Scheherezade and Novella.

It's been a long time since I posted that, and I have since realised that there was a band named Renaissance once. Still, thanks for the extra info 🤣
