The thing about homophobes that I hate is that gay people aren't hurting them in any way.
It's not the end of the world if people hate gays in their head, but going out of their way to attack them and trying to strip their human rights from them is ignorant. If people believe gays will go to hell, shouldn't they be happy that it's not them going to hell, and that the gay's just punishment is awaiting them? And if they're aim is to send these people to heaven, using strong violence against them surely is the way to go.
I think it really shows that people hate gays simply because they can, they've never really thought about it.
