as a good vegetarian, you should stay away from tofu, white potatoes, wheat, etc. Stick to things like beans, quinoa, and low fat dairy (cottage cheese, milk, yogurt, eggs). Beans (black, garbanzo, pinto) and Broccoli are especially high in incomplete proteins; finish them off (for complete proteins) with some nuts within a few days for some complete protein. As a vegetarian, you literally have to have the midset to fuck the idea of complete proteins consumed in one meal. Consume high amounts of non-starch veggies, some fruits, some dairy, etc. For some reason there's this huge misconception that you need meat or other complete proteins every day, which is not true; as I said, I'm largely vegetarian for most of the month and I recover perfectly from work-puts in a day or two without meat sources or tofu, etc. Vegetarianism is not a less diverse diet than omnivorism, you just have to spice it right

I was a vegetarian when I was 18/19 years old. I decided not to eat any kind of meat for a while. Then, at the end, I didn't eat meat from Jan. 2004 until June 2005.
In the first 4-5 months it was totally ok, I didn't miss eating meat at all. Then I started to loose weight and after a year (it was winter) I started to feel weakness, it was probably the lack of vitamine. It continued after 5-6 months so I decided to eat meat again. I don't eat much meat nowadays but I eat lots of salad which is very good.

I think it's all up to your mind. If you decide not to eat meat, then you will be able to refuse it. It is probably more difficult in the winter when your system needs more heavy food, but if you'll eat tons of vegetables and and if you'll take regularly vitamines, then it will be fine I think...

The more colorful veggies you eat, the better it is. So try to eat green, red, yellow, purple, white..etc. vegetables every day. Eat fish often, like 4-5 times a week.

Good luck!

at least to give up eating meat is waaay easier than to give up eating sweets LOL Very Happy
