Why is reggae largely ignored - or worse, still seen as a novelty genre - by large parts of this forum (and perhaps the wider Pitchfork-reading world)?
(not a dig at you Samurai in any way, but I remember Jhereko saying he hated it, and it rarely pops up in charts or in discussion)
Anyway, for an introduction into good reggae I wrote a list of great albums in Rikuff's 'Which Album to Buy' thread.

I think most people don't know where to go from after the obvious ones like marley and Cliff.
