'73 for me because of Quadrophenia, Dark Side, Raw Power and Life on Mars. That's all pretty strong to me. I like Doolittle and New York (a surprising pick) though. Stand is OK, but it's far from my favorite R.E.M. song. I would have picked Orange Crush over Stand. Haven't heard that Flaming Lips album, but I've heard a lot of the other pre-Hit to Death In the Future Head material, and I don't care too much for a lot of it.
I'm curious which way Purple is going to go.

I don't think so. I think it's going to be really close. You can't tell yet, but I bet you '73 makes this interesting over the next few days.

I agree with everyone that said Raw Power is the only thing they like on that 1973 team.
1989 it is for me.
