There are four Flaming Lips albums ranked higher than Clouds Taste Metallic and eight (!) ranked higher than Priest Driven Ambulance. At War With The Mystics (easily the worst Flaming Lips album) appears in more charts than Clouds Taste Metallic (easily the best). Crazy.

I agree that early Flaming Lips should get way more respect. However, I quite like At War With the Mystics.

At War with the Mystics > Soft Bulletin.
Actually. Soft Bulletin is probably an album I'd through into this topic. I love most of the Flaming Lips discogaphy, but I still don't get SB.

I love A Night at the Opera and I do think it is their masterpiece. I have Sheer Heart Attack and Queen II as well but they aren't as good. Still great, but not at the level of A Night at the Opera. I'm in love with my car has some incredible vocals. Death on Two Legs is one of my favorite Queen songs too. Very heavy and full of emotion. It highlights what the band had gone through with their managers and other prior to the release of that album. Love of my life is another classic. It was a staple of their live shows that got the entire audience involved. Lazy on a Sunday Afternoon and Seaside Rendezvous highlighted what Freddie Mercury's style was all about. The Prophet's Song is far from perfect but it's definitely one of their great epics.
