I'll try and think of something (more Alice would be fine, A Monastic Trio for instance, but I'll check others), my first impulse was to advertise Sanders' Karma but it had already been suggested. It's an awesome album and I guarantee you will love it.

I'm still exploring the most classic jazz albums, so I'm no expert. But I think this list might have some of the stuff you're looking for:

Also, the group Bohren & der Club of Gore play something you could may call slow motion jazz. Sounds interesting from what I've heard, their two albums Sunset Mission and Black Earth are on my to-get list
