I prefer the overall list, but agree it would be better if it had more variety. The top-rated list seems to have some oddities, and probably needs refining.

I think the top-rated albums list would improve with the criteria of at least 100 ratings or, say, fifty user chart appearances for each album.

The interesting thing is "Good Kid, M.A.A.d City" is 19th top-rated album of all time.

I'm planning to listen to this album a couple of times just so I can rate it down fairly. Don't worry, I won't give it 0/100 or something, I'll give it a fair rating, but I do think it shouldn't be in the top 20. Why I don't think it deserves to be so high is probably because it's really not my taste in music.. but you can't stop me! 😈

Actually, I'm listening to "Good Kid, M.A.A.d City" for second time right now; Although I don't think it can be 19th top-rated album of all-time but this album is like second best rap album I've listened to (after The Low End Theory) simply because of the brilliant and sophisticatedly consistent story-telling and its downbeat atmospheric music, which many other rap albums that are considered classics simply lack. Perhaps in some places there's too much going on to keep up with, but overall for second listen it gives much better feeling.

To me, the overall chart is about what people like. An album gets up there because many people have positive feelings about it. Unlike the top-rated chart, albums can't be hindered by negativity. I'm more interested in what people like than what they don't, so I prefer the overall chart.

Now that I realize it, yeah 🤔 🤣

And personally, I prefer our top-rated much better. 😄
