#36 from Cartoken's chart: Janelle Monae - The ArchAndroid (Suites II and III)

I'd always intended to listen to this, seeing as it's somewhat of an homage to Metropolis (which is among my favorite movies).
Listening now...

The ArchAndroid: Not as good as I'd hoped, but still a unique album, with an interesting story and original instrumentation.

6/10.

I shall do Strange Days, out of Nutso's. I've never listened to it as a whole.

I'll take La Novia by Acid Mothers Temple and the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. from Defago's chart. Will review once I find and listen to it.

Bed for me now, but I'll see if I can listen to Two Sevens Clash by Culture from letahl's chart tomorrow. Should get more into reggae after I enjoyed Heart of The Congos much more than I'd ever thought I'd love reggae music (Denmark have a lot of annoying pseudo-reggae/dancehall acts which might have shocked me away from the style for some time)

Will check out Junkyard to see if the music fits the album title. I'm doing it because I like the cover artwork. Rating/review/something comes later.

Yeah, I liked Two Sevens Clash, great discovery. My limited experience with reggae tells me that most reggae is enjoyable but also sort of ordinary on first listens, that you have to become familiar with the album to hear what makes it stand out from other reggae albums. But I'm enjoying it and definitely not finished with listening to it

My initial thought is that this would be waaaaaaay more enjoyable on acid. I will review properly later.

Searching For the Young Soul Rebels - Dexys Midnight Runners

Heard some stuff by them, but never delved into a full album before.
