Couldn't listen to it fully on account of family business. Will listen to it again tomorrow and tell you. I had listened to it, yes, but long ago, and today's impression of the first two thirds was that I didn't remember it to be so good. More about that later tomorrow.
Done now, my favourite off them, mainly because they keep things more simple than in most of their other albums I've listened to. A slight Pavement feel to the slackish singing, all in all, a very good pop album.
Would love to know what all the jazz heads make of this album.I first heard it a few years ago,but I've been going back to it a lot recently,I think it's great.It's a cross over of jazz and house,and it does a disservice to neither,which I think is one of the real standout features.
This album at times I think is genius, and sometimes I think it is overrated compared to his later albums... this time reminded me of the genius of it.
