On Nevermind, Cobain straight up admits to being too decadent in trying to find the same "poppy but edgey" feel that the Pixies had. On In Utero, he still uses mechanisms from the Pixies but he has largely found his own niche. Also, the songwriting on In Utero is markedly matured. People just dig Nevermind because it's easy to pick up and enjoy first listen and it's not very abrasive at all (at least musically), but I've found that I've listened to it so much that I just burnt it out, which should never be able to happen to a "best ever album." I think people always put it up top because it was so significant at its release (on a side note, I also feel that that's why people pick Slanted and Enchanted over Crooked Rain, it was just different when it first came out, and that stuck; but Crooked Rain is much more mature and diverse).

This list isnt very genuine .. but should put it up just to move PJ Harvey up the ranks .. (not a fan of her really, but give credit where credits due) .. And im listening to Zoo station now .. NO not no.1 .. Not top 10 .. If you were high you would still argue whether it should get an honourable mention ..
