Something about Bonobo and Erykah Badu is just a perfect fit. Both have a penchant for creating airy, floaty music that is both progressive and rooted in the past. Bonobo worked wonders with British R'n'B singer Andreya Triana recently over the course of her debut album, which is easily one of my favourite releases - of any genre - within the past five years. And Erykah Badu is Erykah Badu. Anyway, this is dope and it's got me suitably hyped for Bonobo's album.
The first track on the first vinyl LP I ever purchased. Stopped off at my nan's house on the way home and got my uncle to play it on his state of the art stack system. He hated it which made me love it even more.
