Fair enough. I like FYE mainly because they typically carry music I love and I'm not a big fan of amazon. I screwed up a few times ordering unfortunately so I've learned my lesson that amazon is just not for me :)

Yeah you do have to be very careful who you order from, especially used. I typically try to go for "like new" condition from a very high rated seller if the price is decent. Always a bit of risk involved though I suppose.

Have you listened to any other Menomena albums? I think Mines has some of their strongest songs (Tithe & Sleeping Beauty), but their other albums are great, too.

This week I bought...

The Cure - The Head on the Door
Elvis Costello - My Aim is True
The Stooges - Funhouse

Funhouse and The Head on the Door are alright, but My Aim is True is great.

Friend or Foe is also a really good one. I mean, I'm surprised Menomena isn't more popular on these sites, they seem to fit in perfectly.

Friend and Foe is great! I love the raw sound of I Am the Fun Blame Monster, though. I haven't managed to listen to their new album in its entirety, but from the few songs I heard it sounded great. The member who left, Brent Knopf, has an awesome solo project too - Ramona Falls.

Yeah I listened to Friend Or Foe earlier this week, liked it quite a bit too. Agree with Happymeal that they should be a bit more popular around here.
