With Yourselfisntsteam's account being deleted, I've noticed that his forum posts are still here on the site, but his comments everywhere else have been deleted. A bit of a shame, as he had interesting comments on a lot of albums, where I believe that the only comments to be found on them now are hairymarx saying "great summary, Yourselfisntsteam", or something. So I'm just curious to why comments are deleted, but forum posts are kept. I'd suggest that comments would be kept as well

It's not an every day occurrence that an account is requested to be deleted, so if this is currently being done wrong, it can be corrected without much impact. When an account is currently deleted, everything is deleted bar any forum posts (which are retained because otherwise the forums wouldn't make much sense with holes in the conversation). The same is probably true of comments as well, so I'll looking at retaining these and modify how deleted accounts are currently treated.
