I didn't even buy it. Nor did I ask for it.

Shakira's Laundry Service... I was six, and when I first heard Objection (Tango) on TV (it was on Cartoon Network, haha), I was crazy : I needed that song. I still don't know how (the name of the son wasn't written anywhere), but my parents once came back with the album, and it was great. Actually, I only remember the first three songs : the one I was in love with, Underneath Your Clothes and Whenever, Wherever. I've not listened to the album since that time.

When I grew older, I became less interested in music. I only listened occasionally to some stupid children songs, and loved my video games' music, but it was not much more than that. Then four and a half year ago, a friend made me listen to the ape song from Disney's Jungle Book, and it was awesome. I soon got my first iPod and downloaded loads of Disney songs, along with some tunes I had sang in music class at school when I was younger (U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday and The Turtles' Happy Together, in particular). With time I began to stop listening to Disney to move towards mainstream artists like Green Day (which became my first "favorite" band), The All-American Rejects, Linkin Park or James Blunt... But no albums : I only downloaded some of their songs (on iTunes or less legally), it was unthinkable for me to listen to an entire album. Then, three years ago, my father made me listen to the last Muse album, and even if it didn't strike me at first listen, I finished to love it and downloaded of my iTunes (but not in its entirety, only the tracks I liked). I loved it so much that I decided to buy another album if theirs : Black Holes & Revelations. And here I am. I don't like Muse as much as before, now, but still, I find them very entertaining, and I still love Origin Of Symmetry.

So technically, I only bought my first album less than three years ago... Today I'm really sad I didn't got into music earlier. When I see some of you listened to Dylan when they were ten, I'm like "How the fuck is it possible?". I have to fill my dramatic cultural holes now ๐Ÿคก
