HappyMeal, MrFrogger and the usual people, please stay on topic (again). ๐

As it is now, it either takes me to the newest page if I haven't been logged on for a long time, or it just directs me to the same page as last time if I've only been gone 5 minutes - 1 hour or something. :/ |
Hi, which particular link isn't working in Opera? I'd be glad to fix it if we can locate the issue. I'm currently assuming you are referring to the links within each 'Last Post' column on the forum home page (or are you talking about somewhere else?), but I can't see anything wrong with it: e.g. http://www.besteveralbums.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=8506#8506

Yeah, I'm talking about when I click that small page/piece of paper- icon that signifies new posts (since last visit) in a thread. It might take me to the page containing the first new posts, but it doesn't jump directly to the first new post, so I have to scroll down and find it myself. I hope I'm making enough sense now. ๐

Thanks for clarifying that as I think I was looking at something different. The link is supposed to take you to the first post that you have missed, and not the last post in the thread (if that makes any sense). I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work in Opera (if it's a browser specific issue) because it is just a plain URL with a bookmark. I'll investigate into it to see what might be happening.

Yep, we're definitely talking about the same thing now, and yes, taking me to the first post I've missed is exactly what it doesn't do (though at least it takes me to the correct page, if I've been logged off long enough). I'm surprised it doesn't work as intended as well, it's only the second board that doesn't work perfectly for me in Opera. Thanks for responding and giving it some thought. ๐
