I've attempted listening to Delta Machine three times now. Not even kidding, fell asleep every time.

Their newest release is better than most of the other big name bands (e.g My Bloody Valentine, Atoms for peace, The Strokes, Tegan and Sara, and etc.), but I'm not a huge fan of it. Turns out to be very slightly above average.

I've got it now, too...my opinion is it doesn't get good until halfway through. First half of the album is complete crap.
In a perfect world I'd somehow convince Alan Wilder to rejoin the band. Or at least produce them.

No, their peak was when they made Alan Wilder a full member when they were making Some Great Reward, and it lasted until one album after he left (Ultra). Don't ask me why they still managed one very good album after. The last one, Sounds of the Universe, was also good and their best since Ultra. Delta Machine isn't at that level...it's better than Exciter or Playing the Angel, though.
