Absolutely love the Stereophonics, must dip my hand in my pocket to buy this new album.

Language. Sex. Violence. Other? was amongst the first albums I ever had. Listened to all the albums except this one. Not high on my priorities to listen but I am glad someone is still lining their pockets ๐Ÿคฃ Band had a place in my musical story. We have heard some good songs from them indeed.

Other could be Drugs or Alcohol. Or weed.

The band came from Brynaman which is literally a few minutes away from where I live.

I must admit, their first two albums are by far my favourites. Although I have their later stuff, it doesn't get played anywhere near as much, save for Dakota which I have a real soft spot for. Instead of buying the new album, I am now going to revisit Language. Sex. Violence. Other? - ha ha

Maybe. ๐Ÿคฃ It is a very odd title for an album. Haven't checked if they had a story behind it.

Holy crap. How exactly do you keep track of such a huge number of albums? Do you rate them out of 1000 instead of the usual 100?

The album derives from the categories on the back of DVD's etc in the UK. When the films are rated by the BBFC or whoever does it as U, PG 12A 15 or 18 they would accompany this on the back with a table with Language, Sex, Violence Other. For instance Pulp Fiction would be Language - Large amount of expletives, Sex - Male Rape, Violence - Lots of blooshed, Other? Graphic portrayal of drugs and a drug overdose

Why they chose it, I haven't got a clue ??
