Hey Norman (hopefully you'll see this comment). Have you listened to Los Lobos' album Kiko? If not, give it a whirl, some amazing stuff (their best in my opinion).
EDIT: This applies to anyone to have yet to listen to it as well, I'd highly recommend giving it a try.

Hey! Yes I have, I like it. How Will the Wolf Survive? is very good too.
Now listening to Dim Stars by Dim Stars (1992). This album is not chartered around these parts, yet Dim Stars are : Thurston Moore, Steve Shelley, Richard Hell and Don Fleming. Sounds like a NYC rock fan's wet dream, right? The album's very good, chjeck it out if you can (pretty difficult to listen to online I reckon, deezer's got one third of it, that's all I could find.
