My father is 30 years older than me, and I'm nearly 40, so you can imagine 🤣
He did listen to 50s and early 60s rock 'n' roll, he loves Peter, Paul and Mary, and recently I gave him 4 vinyl albums (still need to find him a record player) with the following artists: Statler Brothers, Carpenters, Andrews Sisters, and Peter, Paul and Mary. He also likes older country music. He hates Nat "King" Cole and some other guy I forget (Johnny Mathis maybe? Maybe not), but only because some network took over the 40s-oldies station he used to listen to back in the 90s and started playing them every 30 minutes.
I know one of my father's favorite songs was "You're The One" by the Vogues and he saw The Beatles as the end of good rock and roll 🤣 But he also liked his college's theme song, The Animals' "We Gotta Get Out of this place". He also likes ABBA and Celine Dion. No accounting for taste 🤡 _________________ <(: @ :)>
