Faust is one of those overrated bands that I like to quite some extent that I feel either have too much attention or don't have enough. It really depends.

A good album. Haven't listened to it in a while though.

It's a very good album. original, still sounds fresh, and also: fun, in its own odd way. That said, like others, I do prefer the wider accessibility of Faust IV, but I understand how you can esteem this one higher if you're adverse to popularizing works.

A few years ago, I finally got around to seeing Faust live at a festival in London in a small tent that held about 200 people. The gates to the festival opened promptly at 12 noon and the band had already started their set as people rushed to the front of the stage. I was one of them. As the band sequed into Krautrock tears of joy began to well up in my eyes as finally the realization of a dream had hit home. It was the greatest of gigs in every way. Anyway, I digress. This album is an amazing trip. I love Faust.
