I don't know, I think it's definitely more dancefloor-ready than Lucky Shiner. It's got more muscle. It maybe has less obvious charm than Lucky Shiner, but I still think it's a good album. Hopefully it holds up to repeated listens.

Duly noted. I was more than prepared to give up on him (largely because his everyman schtick is so convincing that he could literally be anybody, an average rapper void of any real personality), but I'll probably give the new one a chance now.
