I did not have the opportunity to really know Squishy. For me he's just this illuminati guy who has become a kind of living (and not that funny) joke.

I have largely declined to make myself visible on these forums as of late, but I would like to respond to a prevailing attitude amongst the community that would paint this as an act of abandonment.
I'll concede that my covert activities have taken far too long. They have taken a toll on my Besteverville thread, and left me silent during many opportunities for meaningful interaction. For my absence I am truly sorry, and I yearn to rejoin you all.
I have but one last burden to carry before I may return. I carry it for you. I carry it for all of us. It may lead me to freedom or it may lead me to death. I bear scars for you. For you I stay silent. Always you are in my thoughts.
Call me deluded or call me sanctimonious, but I defy you to call me a joke. I will not let that stand.
