Ok, so..... We have somehow arrived at this point. Pixies have joined The Stooges in completely fucking up their perfect discography. This is just so generic it's stunning and its only worse because it's the Pixies that released it. Does this ruin the Pixies legacy? No. Is it a massive blight on an otherwise perfect band? Oh yeah it is. I propose we kill off The Replacements, Pavement, and Jeff Mangum before their join the trend of just absolutely shitty reunion albums. Cause seriously guys, these things rarely work out, with My Bloody Valentine being the only 80's/90's indie/alt rock comeback album being good

First listen. The title track is so cool and funky that I don't see how even 10 minutes of it could tire me.
Edit : I loved it. I'm not a Live At The Appollo fan at all, but this is great, much more fun and enjoyable IMO, even if about twice as long. Some tracks would have been better if they had been a bit shorter, but overall there are mostly superb songs. I'd have loved him to sing on Spinning Wheel, though.

also, whats the track listing on that? I dont think I have ever seen it. :-k
There you go
It's considered a mini album, so I don't even know if it's eligible to be added to the database. Too bad though because the short length works in favour of the music in this case. Longer and it would just be saccharine overload. And it's great yes, "Curry Nochi Rice" has been stuck in my head for some time now. ๐
