Mos Def, The New Danger. Very good, surprised nobody has it on a chart (that's including me of course, but this goes in my 2004 chart as of tonight).
I love that album. It's long, and I think there are a few filler tracks, but it's really varied and has a bunch of great songs. It has been panned by many, but I've always thought that very unfair. It's totally good.
Just on first listen now. Heard it wad going to be more mellow than their previous albums, and indeed it is! Sounds good but will give it a few more listens before i pass judgement.
Yup, seems promising enough. Had a few cheeky listens over the weekend as the new releases come out on a Friday over here. '4 Lonely Roads' (sung by Cate Le Bon - had not heard of her before) kind of standing out for me so far.
