Not a big fan of either, but I voted guns n roses because welcome to the jungle is a cool song and Modern Lovers just all blended together into samey uninteresting mush.

Hm ... not a huge fan of either of these. Still has to go to Modern Lovers, much better album, I think.

From what I know, there are mostly people who hate the new GNR, but the old stuff is fine. I can hardly stand the vocals on UYI2, but people here know Appetite has good stuff. Still, there's more love for the soft stuff. Anybody who likes Ramones has gotta like The Modern Lovers. For me, I love Appetite and The Modern Lovers made it to my bottom 10, I think. Plus, they probably find the lead singer's voice more tolerable than Axl Rose's.
This is only my guess.
Anyway, the Erykah Badu album made it to number 220 of the 273 albums I've heard, and is number 48 on my 90's chart.

Appetite is a Top 50 album in the charts. There are some of us around here that like it.
