Thought it might be a good idea to have a similar thread that we have in the lounge here in the music forum. Basically it's a free-for-all, any topic, question, concern, thing you're excited about or general idea you want to discuss, anything musically-related that doesn't really need it's own thread, as there has seem to bit too many new threads overflooding this forum section recently. Yep. Second time did it. "Reflektor" is at 110 on my overall chart, and number 5 of 2013. Can anyone rec me some good 50's works? I wanna fill up my 50's chart to at least 30 before next Saturday. It's just goal I set for myself.

The best thing you can probably do is go to the overall 50's chart for the site and work through that.

What Patman said. Also, use the Penguin Guide to Jazz to find good jazz albums. I can give you specifics, if you want.

Has anyone noticed the difference between the top 2 50's albums? "Kind of Blue" has 22711 points, but "Elvis Presley" only has 3689. "Kind of Blue" is the only 50's album in the top 300. I think exploring 50's rock would be a good idea for many of us.
