This is difficult. I love Belle and Sebastian, but mostly IF You're Feeling Sinister (same way I love Queen Is Dead but have yet to fall for another The Smiths albums)...This one doesn't do as much for me as of now. 36 Chambers is an album I appreciate musically but can't get into the whole atmosphere of it. I do love how each member has so much personality and it shines through, I love personality in music...
So, usually I'd view results and vote for the underdog if I couldn't decide, but I'm actually edging towards Enter the Wu-Tang, just because of how great it is...Like, it isn't a record for me, but I can still see something magic happening...The kind of record that makes me feel like I'm being objective about it when, y'know, I'm not. I do like it a lot, it just doesn't do much for me personally or emotionally, I like it purely based on the sound. Protect Ya Neck is just so awesome.
Can't believe i'm doing this. I enjoy Tigermilk more regularly, but had to go with Wu Tang. It's a far more important and fully realized debut. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
I hate it when two epic albums go against each other. One gets knocked out, and a weak album paired with a weaker album gets through... I guess that's how random tournaments go.
Tigermilk is brilliant.
Wu-Tang is once in a generation brilliant. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
