2013, though I suspect those years are of roughly the same quality. But this year I've been discovering more new stuff (as in recently released, I've always discovered albums new to me) than I've done since the early 2000s, and even finding several albums I honestly dig. THAT is kind of a revelation to me, as I was somewhat dismissive of newer music for some time. I just needed to find the right albums, I suppose.

i think kanye's album should go down as 2010's best, but the suburbs will be aided not only by arcade fire's fervent fans but also that grammy nod.
