Rainbow has a history of questionable album covers it seems. Personally I've never had a problem with them. Anyway, this album has some really high, high points, but also some filler. They would do much better on their follow up album.

I think it's a terrible painting of Art Webb playing flute under a tree, topless, reimagined as a faun, like some jazz-funk Mr. Tumnus. I'm shocked that this idea was allowed to get as far as it did, but still thankful nonetheless.
EDIT: And as if that wasn't bad enough, they actually extended the idea to other releases:
