Anyone have suggestions of albums that look like being in a forest, or in a far away place, surrounded only by nature? (dont know if im expressing myself very well ๐Ÿ˜„ ) Im looking more for ambient music, but throw me whatever you want, please.

I don't buy it, but this is an interesting little conspiracy theory with regards the promotion of violent hip-hop and the American private prison system, specifically in the early 1990s. It's worth a read, and I'm up for discussing its plausibility and other issues if anybody else is. I know it's before his time in the industry, and it deals with a much more commercial side of things, but I'd be interested to hear meccalecca's take, as well as people who actually remember a shifting of attitudes in hip-hop during the so-called "Golden era".

Are there any users here who would call themselves big fans of "britpop"? I'm not here to argue what counts and what doesn't. Just people who can say they like a lot of mid 90s UK bands from Blur to Echobelly, Ocean Colour Scene to My Life Story, Pulp to Sleeper. You know, anything in that park.

I've got albums by some of the 'big' Britpop bands on my charts, Different Class and The Great Escape are both on my overall chart at the moment, with a few more scattered throughout my decade and year charts, I wouldn't be the world's biggest Britpop fan or whatever, but I enjoy it.

Likewise ๐Ÿ™ Albeit that only covers my small range of reggae knowledge, but his work with Scratch was great.
