I just took a long pause from the De la Soul debut, and I find that I'm really enjoying the album again. I guess pauses during a hip-hop album really help me since this isn't the first time.

A huge chunk of my listening happens at work. This means using the computer (Google Music, because it isn't blocked) and earbuds. This isn't great for really hearing the music, so I mostly listen to albums I am already familiar with. For new albums, which deserve a proper listen, I listen either on the home stereo or through my good headphones. Either way, I listen to whole albums. And I do read lyrics, but usually not right away. I like to hear the song a few times before I start dissecting the lyrical content.

I got used to listen to FLAC audio files... sometimes I convert them back to Wav.

Mainly, i listen to music in my studio's monitors/headphones. My favorite setup is through my Focusrite interface with Sennheiser HD650 headphones... you can hear everything, sweetly.
