The Godfather

After AMC's recent Godfather marathon, I got to thinking about this series again. Particularly, which one deserves to be ranked as past? Normally I would've been tempted to name Part II as best, but then I discovered "The Godfather Saga", which takes all the films and orders them chronologically, and my goodness is it good. Other thoughts?

Part I is one of the greatest movies ever. I'm really not sure how Part II seems to get placed higher than Part I a lot of the time. It's really not even close.

I've had the Godfather films downloaded on my laptop for a while but I can't be bothered to watch them.

Any smart person knows that The Conversation is Coppola's best movie. Other than Lost in Translation, of course.
